Michael Hill
Michael Hill is an independent music supervisor who currently works on the HBO series Bored To Death and the Showtime series Nurse Jackie. He is also Director of Volunteers and Programs for Musicians On Call, a nonprofit bringing live music to the bedsides of chronically ill and non-ambulatory patients at healthcare facilities. Michael began his career as an editor of the eighties alternative rock monthly, NY Rocker, and spent 15 years in the A&R dept. of Warner Bros Records. At the age of 17, he went to a journalism conference at Columbia and snuck out of the proceedings to attend a Black Panther rally on the steps of Low Library, where he saw Abbie Hoffman, Jean Genet, and Afeni Shakur inspire and incite the crowd.
