Meghan Wurtz
Meghan Wurtz has been working with Film Movement since 2006. She has been involved in the acquisition and release of films such as The Grocer’s Son, The Violin, Days & Clouds, Arranged, Ben X, Under the Bombs, and Munyurangabo. Meghan is responsible for launching new distribution channels such as Film Festival on Demand (ad-supported cable VOD platform). She has secured company sponsors such as Stella Artois and has established partnerships with US cable operators for video on demand as well as with Hulu, iTunes, YouTube, Amazon, and Netflix for online streaming. Having held positions at companies including European Film Promotion and Northstar Media, Meghan has extensive international experience and knowledge of the European film and television market. She has attended various film festivals such as Sundance, SXSW, Tribeca, Venice, Toronto, Berlin, Cannes, and also the MIPCOM & MIPTV markets.
